My brother and I get this really bad case of dry hands-starts at the knuckles-they crack and are really itchy-we both get a case of trichlomania or whatever (I am so sorry I don't have the energy to look up what it is-just constantly picking at it) and it spreads from knuckles only down to the thumb knuckle. wtf lol!

I am seriously thinking it is anxiety. My brother just had a nervous breakdown, and I almost had an anxiety attack recently (which very rarely ever happens to me) and my right knuckle is starting to show signs....wtf.

My other hypothesis is that its seasonal?

This year is my bro's first time getting it-I've experienced it two years in a row now-he is 22 and I'm 21.

It sucks, turns into craziness because we start trying creams (nothing works!!!!) so we just start burning our hands in scorching hot water because it feels awesome...makes it worse in the long run...and this crap just randomly goes away later. Only happens fallish/winter.

And I say....wtf lol
