Celexa has half the potency of Lexapro, so that's why your prescription is for 40 mg instead of 20 mg. (Celexa and Lexapro are not the same drug, although are related.) Celexa behaves a little differently from Lexapro so watch how you do and let your doc know of side effects, etc. Good luck on the new med!
