Personally, I'm inclined to go to the old addage, "I think you protest too much."
The fact that you posted here says to me that you're probably thinking about her more than you think or want to admit. .. Or perhaps you're thinking about how much you're NOT thinking about her.. . sorry but that still counts as thinking about or remembering the person.
If a person truly and totally forgets or lets go of an important relationship, they don't think, remember, dream or talk about the person that they have forgotten. The person ceases to exist in their thoughts and feelings. It's like that person is a non entity.
I think it's a GOOD thing that you haven't truly forgotten her. . .. she still exists in your memory and she remains important. It's okay if her absences doesn't hurt or wound you. That means that you're dealing with your issues appropriately but it doesn't mean that she becomes unimportant or non existent. Just my take on things!
