My Real name is birth name is Amelia but i had my name changed to Milly
because of what my birth mother did.

I was born in Hong Kong and lived there till I was three,
At the age of 2 I was put into foster care because my mother was abusing and
starving me. (This is what I've been told)

At the age of three I was raped by my foster dad and then sent to another
foster family. They brought me to Australia. At the age of four I found out
that my birth mother was in jail because she had starved my sister to death
and was charged with murder. I had to have my name changed so she did not
try to kill me too.

When I was five I moved to another foster family because the one I was with
couldn't afford to keep me. For the next two years things went smoothly.
Then I was seven and I began to cut because I was moved to yet another
foster family and things at school were not going well.

When I was eight I found my half-brother and he came too live with me. I
moved schools three times that year. The next two years were fine. When I
was eleven I was adopted by a family that had 2 lovely girls and 1 boy. They
adopted both me and my brother.

When I was 12 I began to hallucinate really badly and had to go to hospital
heaps. That year I was admitted to the psychiatric ward 3 times because
every time I hallucinated I would scream and be weird. The only one who
would ever come and visit me in hospital was my bother.

When I was 13 I was admitted to hospital and was being watched 24/7 for
suicidal attempts. 2 days later my brother was admitted because he kept
screaming out every time someone mentioned school and my name. Also that
year i was diagnosed with schizophrenia and depression.

Recently this year I got a court order against my dad because he tried to
kill me, instead of killing me he killed my brother. Also this year I lost
my friend because she committed suicide and I have been adopted by another
family. I've cut and tried suicide twice but now I'm on a mission to stop
cutting and turn my life around.
I also met a guy called Callum and he has helped me through heaps.

Yes if you count through the years I am only 14 going 15 this year. Though I
am still young I think I have much to offer. I've dedicated my life to
helping others and supporting others. I hope I can help any of you and would
love to help in anyway possible…
