Trippin, daylight savings time is a way to stretch more daylight into the summer days. Making it appear as if the sun is rising an hour later and setting and hour later, making the daylight hours seem longer. Because the sun rises so early in the summer this seemed a good way to stretch the daylight hours longer. Really it's sort of a pain in the bum, especially when November comes and you have to " loose" an hour, or so it seems.
In Canada it starts in March and ends in November. But this changes in different locations. And I believe the northern hemisphere is different then the southern hemisphere. I dunno it still confuses me.
