So I'm 51 and have just been recently diagnosed with ADHD, apparently more AD than HD. Anyway, my problem is not really time management. Yes I do have trouble starting and completing projects but only when they are an elective choice. My biggest problem is my irratibility and impatience. At work this manifests itself in "panic attacks" when confronted with more than one task at a time. At home it comes out as biting remarks and often harsh sarcasm, my wife being the brunt of it. I've started on Ritilin (? spelling) but have only progressed to 10mg dose which doesn't seem to have helped much yet. If anyone has suggestions for dealing with this part of ADHD (speaking quick without thinking, etc.) please feel free to comment. My wife, bless her heart, tries so hard but some days it really gets to her. Anyone else have to deal with this part of ADHD?
