great info gulas. in my own research i found multiple references to persons prescribed baclofen to curb cravings for alcohol. interestingly enough my doc put me on baclofen and took me off flexerill for muscle spasms. reason-over time one can develop more of a dependency to flexerill and far less problems being prescribed baclofen. i was already in recovery when he made this wise choice to avoid my dependancy on flexerill. i did notice a feeling of well-being with flexerill that did not occur with baclofen. could be a fluke caused by my sensitivity to meds but nevertheless it was a wise decision by my doc.
