Might be me but in this day and age, I think your attitude of "get my foot in the door" isn't a bad thing. I have a lot of friends who are doing things they would have NEVER dreamed of as college graduate. If you're young and you're willing to do anything to get your foot in the door, it isn't a bad thing to do ANYTHING! If it doesn't lead to anything after a few months of hard, committed work, then move on. Seriously, these are hard times for young people and you have to show that you are committed and interested in doing what is needed to make an impression. I'm not a depression child, but I remember what my parents said to me, "Do the work and you will be rewarded." Not something many of us are familiar with. Many of the students I work with tell me, "No way am I flippin' bugers at Micky D's!" The world has changed.
