My husband takes Trazadone and he has the exact same problem. It's the only thing that puts him to sleep though, so he's just suffering thru the nightmares. He even wakes up CRYING, and this is a man that has never cried in front of me before that particular dream. They can be pretty intense, realisitic, vivid, and disturbing. Let me know if your doc puts you on something different.
