Volunteering is an awesome idea. You could volunteer at homeless shelters, animal shelters, abuse or drug centers, libraries, schools, Boys and Girls Club (big brother/big sister program), tutoring, hospitals, and I know there are tons more. Whatever you like, there is probably a place to volunteer at.
