Does adding something like Abilify really work?
Are there any other options?

Hi! Your question caught my eye, been in the same boat. I've also been on Wellbutrin for about 10 yrs, I don't think it's done much much for me for a long time. I have tried Abilify and it did help rather quickly, within the 2nd week I felt better. Only problem I had with it was it made me rather shaky. I would suggest at least trying it, you may not have this problem. I questioned my doc about the possibilty that I might be bipolar, took an online test. We are trying Lamictal, a mood stabilzer along with the Wellbutrin. So far, Amazing!! Within 2 weeks I felt better than I have in many years! At some point we may even try to stop the Wellbutrin completely. Hope this is helpful!
