Sorry you're not feeling well right now. Diagnosing psychiatric disorders can be a very complex thing, as you've already discovered. But do take some comfort in the fact that you have a conscientious doctor who is willing to take the time to get it right and not just slap a quick label on things. I'm assuming that since you're going to these doctors on your own that you're an adult or perhaps an older teenager. If you are still under your mother's care, then it may be a challenge to get her to agree to a medication. If you are an adult, however, then your mother's opinion is just that - an opinion - and it is ultimately up to you to make the decision. I know going against our parents wishes is difficult, but it is your life now and you are the one affected by this, not her. You may have to stand up to her and take the medication.

They are a national organization and have local, in person support groups. There is also an online support group and lots of information online.
