glad to hear all is good. if the cone gets to be too much you can get a big towel & wrap it around his neck like one of those old neck braces people used to wear & secure it with duct tape..or the pet stores sell soft collars to use. the cones become deadly!

actually you can cut the cone down too if it becomes to unwieldly...trim back a few inches if need be..it's just so he can't bend around & get to himself..if it hurts his leg or crotch then he won't bother the wound.

my guy who just had surgery for a tumor last week is using the insurance collar not a cone because he would take out the walls, my legs trap leaves & have a hard time eating with one.
