I'm the type of guy who tends to do a lot of thinking. It occurred to me last night that this website would make an invaluable resource for students and practitioners in the mental health system.
It just makes sense, here is a space where people can open up anonymously about their conditions without the fear of ridicule from friends or peers. To have access to all of these ongoing conditions, from so many people and in the one place, must be an invaluable resource indeed.
Don't get me wrong, this isn’t a criticism or complaint of any description. I suppose you could call it an ‘observation’. Students have to learn, and researchers have to research. If I can help to teach someone, who can then help someone, then I’m all for it.
However, I would ask that if ‘anyone’ wants to ask me a question please don’t ‘pretend’ to be someone you’re not, be it in a reply to a post or in a chat room.
Anyone is more than welcome to email or pm me and ask me “any question you want”. I’ll be more than happy to give you an honest answer.
I’m writing this now as I know it will be monitored by a human before being posted. I’m curious as to what the website‘s policy will be on this post.
