Open your email program and address the email to your sister, etc. and then copy and paste, that often works for me. If you just copy the image and then have to open the program; the program is "new" so does not know what you have been doing before you woke it up

Another way is to right click and "save as" on your disk and then upload it into an email as an attachment.
