The difference between car mufflers and cigarettes? Nothing.
I smoked for over thirty years. Quitting smoking is right up there with the hardest things I have ever done, along with Vietnam, for example. For some, I am told, quitting is not that hard.

My doctor told me where I was heading if I did not quit. It took a trip to the emergency room for me to get serious about quitting.

To use an old saw, this article tells it like it is. When I read about the benefits of quitting, I thought of "gospel", good news. Oh, I know some will say it is easy to tell people to quit now that I have. Even so, you know you should.
