You chose not to wear make up.

I chose to wear it. Lots and lots of it. Pink eyeshadow, glitter in daytime and smokey eyes to go to class.... I have been called "drag queen trapped in woman's body".

It comes to personal choice. Screw the media.... they tell us too many contradictory things. Find your look, one you feel comforatable with and stick with it.

No need to fit in a group. I am a feminist who wears lots of make up and sometimes goes dressed head to toe in pink. Been told I undermine the efforts of feminist movement....

and as for clothes... check flea markets and outlets. You can find truly cool clothes there. Even trendy Don't have to, but that's how we cheap *** fashionistas do it
