I am with purple_fins, thank you for sharing this. I know it was so hard to do but you did it and that is one more step in the step to victory. I so get how hard it is and the anonymity thing as I post our BD like the day before and then take it back off even after being here this long.

You did survive my friend and even though what you lived through was not your fault and nothing you deserved, you still are taking back what should have never been taken a little at a time. Even if it takes what sometimes is years it is a victory, one you deserve and have every right to now.

For so long we could not know, we could not invision, nor could we even acknowledge. But now we can and now we can hold onto each day knowing we are walking towards healing however long it takes to get there. Each steps no matter how small it may seem is important. You are important. We all are important.

Keep holding on to what you know and know that we are here for you with each step of the way however small it may seem. You are not alone anymore. Yes, there is hope, new horizons, peace, and even love. Love not only surrounding you but within you. As we learn to care and love ourselves that love only grows, what we never knew growing up is there and blooming with each step we take.
