I do this every day and there is a wealth of coping skills here.
Also, it has been suggested to me that I become aware of when I do a certain thing, like biting my nails, stop and see what I might be feeling. Nervous? Afraid? Angry?
Often emotions are covered up by behaviors.
Esp. uncomfortable ones.
