yup. I had to teach myself not to talk out loud. the way I did it was carrying a note book and writing what I heard in my head then looking around to see waht around me matched those voices The thing that matched with the voices is called a trigger. Take steps so the trigger no longer upsets me and the voices stopped.

For example every time I went down this one street the voices in my head started going it would end up with me blurting out those words and thoughts.

One day when those voices and words started I stopped what I was doing and pulled out my note book and wrote what I heard - 53, green, maple, this is so fun, apples, I want one....

Then I looked around. my eyes kept going back to a pick up truck so I started writing about the pick up truck. the bottom line was that it was a 1953 green pickup truck that reminded me of a pick up truck I rode it to the apple orchards in the summer and carried maple suryp and sap in the winter.

Once I figured that out the voices stopped. If that truck is parked there and I pass it now the voices still start but now to stop them all I have to do is say ok its just a memory right now I am safe and biking to the library and the voices stop. I know that they keep replaying when ever I see that truck so I know there is more to that memory but so far I have not had any voices or other associated memories that will tell me more. So I just acknowledge the memory is there and ground myself back into the present.
