That's great! I'm not sure how to "encourage" her since I'm still working on that myself. I think Petunia and Cher both have good points. Let her evolve on her own. T once told me that they were all created for a purpose, a way to protect us. And now that the system is changing a little, she needs to find her place within it. So, not ignoring her is great, talking to her is great, journaling, maybe watch a "sophisticated" movie and see what happens.
