I'm wondering if anyone else with Type II diabetes has ever had this happen to them.
I'm having some issues with stablizing my sugars. Yesterday on 2 different occasions I had lower readings (96 and 101). When my sugars get that low, I get the shakes really bad and need to eat something immediately. I know those numbers are in the normal range, but since mine have been so high for so long, I don't think my body can handle the normal range of numbers.
Anywho, the second time I had the lower reading, I ate my dinner then had some chocolate after dinner to bring the sugars up a bit. They came up to 116, not enough to stop me from shaking and feeling anxious. Then it happened, I went into a full blown anxiety attack and it lasted for hours. I'm still feeling the affects of it this morning. My brain can't function right, no patience, tingling and numbness of my extremeties and piss poor attitude to boot.
I went to bed earlier than normal and I took some lorazepam to help me sleep. Looks like I'll be taking some more this morning as I'm still not feeling right.
So, has anyone else had this kind of thing happen to them while working on getting their blood sugars back to normal but they are fluxuating still? This ain't fun folks.....not fun at all
