I wonder if the caffeine in the chocolate affected you? You were already feeling shaky, and the richness of the chocolate was just too much for your system? Because it may have spiked your sugar right back up. Did you measure it again? That might have been informative. What you are calling an anxiety atttack almost sounds like what happens when people with weight loss surgery eat "wrong", eat something sugary, they call it "dumping", the sugar dumps directly into the bloodstream and they feel terrible until it is taken up. The numbness and tingling sounds like sugar circulating in the bloodstream - its crystal hard edges is what causes damage to the delicate internal structures of the body. You should probably use your computer as much as possible to track food grams of carbs etc and blood sugar to try to figure out what works best. A couple, three of days of strictly measured menus (I'm not saying TINY meals, i'm just saying measure what you usually eat, maybe clean it up a little!) will give you a lot of insight into how your meds are working with your body. My problem was also taking too long of walks at first - you really have to work up to it. Several short walks (or whatver exercise) are much better than one long one. We're getting there, I can see you're trying!
Thanks for this!
