You know, I've been a physical survivor for over 20 years, but mentally and emotionally I, in parts of me, was completely and totally still a victim in shackles of fear through flashbacks, stuck in time, memories...you name it.

For the first time I feel that I, in NO way, am a victim to one person left on this earth. It can't be taken away from me, nor will I ever give it away.

What a freeing, amazing thought...yet strange and foriegn.
