I think my 15yr son has Aspergers. Some of his symptoms are:

Easily Frustrated
Very Paranoid
Hyper
goes from 1-10 in an anger rage over the most simple things, in a second
sometimes picks sores tll they bleed when frustrated
can cuss like a sailor or worse when frustrated and can babble like a toddler and seem very lost
very intense depression
very impulsive (dont sit your purse down and look away becus all of your money will be gone) and he will completely meltdown when asked about it, but will also offer to buy dinner with the stolen money

He has been in the mental hospital just 6 times this year
gets therapy/counseling at a private facility once a week
get therapy from the school district therapist 5 days a week
attends a special school for kids with behavior issues
spends most days isolated from other students
rides the school bus alone because of the in and out of reality episodes

He has been DX with Sensory Intergation DO
and the good ole trash can label of ED by the school district

I have had him eval 3 time for Asp. but all three were negative

We are looking at IOH (intensive hospital hospitalization) in January

current meds
depakote, resperidol, vynanse, clonidine,

Any insights will be greatly appreciated
