Well...I don't hear colors, but when I see a number, I get flashes of color in my mind. The colors are always consistent for the most part, and I never intentionally made up colors for numbers...it's just something that started happening when I was in my late teens.
For example....the number 5 is blue. Any increment of the number 5, like 10 or 35, etc. will be blue, just a different shade. It's really fascinating!! I have never been diagnosed with any type of synesthesia, but I have heard of it and always wondered if this is what I am experiencing.
