I talked with mine once about things that are out there and she said there's a certain amount of info that's just out there. If people go looking they're going to find stuff. Adjust what you can/want but at some point you just need to be ok with what's accessible.

It seems to me that it's more of a matter of what you as a patient/client can handle vs. invading their privacy. Stalking can go too far, but all of this mentioned so far is publicly accessible.

I've extensively googled, checked up on license status, facebooked, etc. my T but that's normal for me. I check the same plus police records, etc. of anyone I go on a first date with too. I respect that others hold back, but I feel no guilt for having done so.
