I agree with Direction. My father has been a landlord all my life. If you signed any type of contract, then you should contact your landlord ASAP (if you have one,) or if your name is on the mortgage if you own, they can't just throw you out. It is your home legally, too. Also depending on where you live in, you may have renters rights depending on if you pay rent or not, even if not on the contract.

I'm very sorry things are going this way for you. I know personally what it is like to be told to "get out" just before the holidays and such, and to feel people you trust just completely abandon you when you're in need.

Hopefully you find a better situation.
