First, I am optimistic for you!!! Piercings tend to curb my SI and I actually got tattoos in my "spot" to SI. It has helped so much.

Second, dermal anchors need lots of healing time, you cant touch them, except when you clean(2x daily), otherwise you up your chance of rejection. Mine always hurt for a week or so, good luck, it sounds super cute!
