(((Sabby))) ~ because all of this and your work and caring nature remind me so much of my mom (she is a nurse) My mom struggles with this too sometimes. Each person is different, including the range in which they feel comfortable and at an equilibrium. Its just hard to figure out when you have to externally control/maintain parts of that balance...like blood sugar. Especially when you uniquelly see what does/doesnt affect it. It IS a learning process. I hope you are getting more support to deal with stress and hard days with your workload. With sweet treats to enjoy/bring up blood sugar too ,what my mom does is have a SMALL amount paired with a protien. For example, instead of just milk chocolate and *the rush*, try chocolate with nuts...just a suggestion. Here's another as you continue 1 day at a time... (and thanx for reminding me too...i do need to keep this in mind to try to take better care of me too)

Ya know, I always wanted to be a nurse, a trauma or surgical nurse for that matter. Unfortunately, I never made that happen for myself. Oh well, life is like that sometimes eh? I have a lot of respect for your mom being a nurse. It's a tough job. I'll bet she's a dang good one!

Great idea paring the small portion of goodie with protein. I'll remember that. I love trail mix with the little chocolate pieces in it, so maybe that would be a good snack, in moderation of course.

Thank you so much for the great ideas. Much appreciated! I'm learning...now if I can put what I'm learning into action, I'll be golden
