There is a lot of hype and excitement in some circles around low-dose naltrexone. If you did a search on that, "low-dose naltrexone" in quotations, you'll pull up a good site.
I think we're learning that the brain has modulatory systems of many different sorts, and naltrexone seems to "re-set" one of those modulators to a better place.
I think it's being tried for numerous different disorders because it seems to help in ways that cut across categories, the way we usually arrange things.
Do you have a doctor who would prescribe it for you? I'd have to get a compounding pharmacy to make it up for me, as the standard dose is far too strong for maintenance (long-term) treatment.
