My mother abused me. And neglected me. And turned a blind eye to everyone else abusing me.

Having a hard time coming to grips with it, but my alters have also shown bits of memory that show she sexually abused me, at least in some ways. :/

I think it is more confusing when your mother abuses you, it's like...she's the one who's supposed to always protect you and help you and comfort you, that's how it's presented in everything, like the "mama bear" image, and all of those things like that. Mom is the one who loves you. When things go wrong...they go really, really wrong, I think.
