If you aren't planning on going to college, or even if you are....it's always a good idea to get some kind of sellable skill that can get you a job.....any of the computer skills is a good place to start.....other skills can be like dog grooming, or vet tech or any animal related skills is usually a good for getting a job.

When you get the training, then you don't feel so left out of the job market & can even in a bad economy find somewhere to work if you aren't really planning on going to college & studying for a career.

Even with my degree, I lost my career after 15 years & I know how down it made me feel....I won't even go into how badly it effected me because I had defined myself by my career instead of by what kind of person I really was. What a learning process that has been over the last 18 years....but we are never too old to learn new things about ourselves & get a better understanding of life.

No reason to give up at your age....you have your life ahead of you & plenty of time to figure out the direction you want to take it in.
