Hello Suzzie. I saw the post as 'consenting adults'. I thought it was odd for me to see it that way.
It was the way I read it. Sorry.
Its abuse. I am sorry you have had to endure that sort of treatment, no one ever should be exposed to such horrors. Its a really messed up world sometimes. I would contact the authorities, or try to find an escape through another source (family or friends).
If you are away from this person already then you are recovering and healing.
An ex partner in the 90s was raped by two young men, she asked me at the time what she should do.....I straight away called the police, and with the police came a support network for her. 1 of the young men had already confessed to his mother what he had done (obviously this woman/mother went wild) because when the police arrived they said they had already caught them. They both went to prison.
Another ex partner I was with for a long time was attacked twice (she got away both times), she asked me what should be done.......I always maintain its a duty to report sexual crimes to the police always. If not reported then the 'support network' that are set up for victims are harder to find.
