Yeah, moderation, portion control, tasting little amounts of the things we have hanging around during the holidays.
Here is another statement that helped me when I did my lifestle changes (though I've slipped) is:
"If I ate it, negate it with exercise"!
Life and all is a balancing act afterall.
I walked the dog before 8:30am for our usual mile. We got snow last night! But the sun was shinning and no wind out there. I ate just one serving of my bran cereal, high fiber, low sugar with fat free milk and have alreadyl planned on a fresh orange to eat for my mid morning snack!
