I don't think she would be dishonest about it! I think he'll either give you his opinion or say he would like to work on whatever is most important to you.

I think it's a fine idea to ask him, though. Can't hurt. I've never asked my T that. Makes me wonder what he would say. I think he would probably defer to me.
