JD,
I am here and now and I am thinking about you on this Day. I am not sure what all goes on due to this remembering but if it is what I think it is, it cannot be all that pleasant.
Is it possible for you to know that when I think of you I think of you as whole and healed. I have read of some of your struggles but I don't perceive you that way at all. I'm not callous I just see a whole person with gifts galore, someone who is so compassionate and has had to overcome so many things.
Is this how it's supposed to be cyberly-speaking?
My prayers sometimes get answered and I hope that today is a New Beginning. I want that for you selfishly but, of course, that has never been why people are healed. I just read this book, written kind of like the Easter story at Christmas. This little boy was healing people but he was not getting better himself but he was in contact with heaven. Anyway, was it a fairy story? Is it real? Does Jesus really heal the body, mind and spirit? Is that what I am to hold out 'hope' for?
I just want there to be some relief for you JD. You give so much of yourself and I read things are getting harder for you in some ways and I feel sad for you. What good does my feeling sad for you do? It makes me think God does not hear but that is not true, according to all I know of him. What then? Do I pray for some relief for you now and then? Then I do, breaks in the pain and the futility that will allow you to be extended for as long as you want and he wants. But then it's probably true you are already taking care of yourself as best you can so why pray? But I do pray anyway...
I pray that folks will come around you this month and bring you gifts of the unexpected, gifts to cheer you up, gifts that will surprise you and make it easier for you. Yes, even practical things and physical things and emotional gifts and psychological gifts and friendship and love. That is what I pray for you JD. Some things to ease your way in these next few months.
