I had a cold this fall when I had outpatient surgery. I asked if it would be a problem and was told it wouldn't (which was weird because I got moved up a week because the lady that week was sick - wait...I think she had bronchitis (sp?)).
I think a cold is ok...as long as it's not the flu or something more serious.
