I have no idea what it means, except you seem to be going through a rough patch. Maybe it's your subconcious telling you to reach out for that hope. Or even that there's people nearby you (in the dream this was represented by the boy with the guitar) who are willing to help you and pull you out of your depression (if that's the condition you have).
