Sounds like a plan (the no gum thing.) What's an adult doing chewing gum anyway... unless he/she plays baseball. .. ok don't answer that.
I think the frustration of NOT being able to ... whatever it is... is compounded because "it" doesn't "get done." The solution, for me, was to FIND other ways of coming as close to "getting it done" as possible. That ended the complete frustration of it all. (I was cleared for up to 8lb lift from waist heighth, but PT and I found I can only try 3-5 lbs from waist high.) That, as you know, limits picking up most anything important. (Ok...mail...is important.)
