Thanks for any (supportive) replies
when my friends are busy and dont have time for me, or my wife or family I find other things to do that can be done by myself - card games, read a book, puzzles, surf the internet, go for a walk, depending on time of yr take my canoe out for a ride on the lake, go roller skating, go ice skating, window shopping at the mall. theres lots of things a person can do by their self when their friends and family are too busy with their own life. right now (christmas time) everyone is off doing their own secret Santa things so its easy to forget to spend quality time with each other.

for the lonely feelings that stem from my past trauma's I contact my treatment provider. she always takes a few minutes to listen and make suggestions that will help.Usually her suggestion is take some time to write it out then take a few deep breaths and then take the dog for a walk LOL
