Has anyone else on here had their T jumped to the conclusion that they have borderline personality disorder because they SI? I told my T about my cutting and next thing you know he is telling me I am BPD. He never asked about why I cut or what Im feeling when I cut or even tried to understand it. It was totally frustrating.

AND I have no other symptoms of BPD besides SI and repeated suicide scares (for lack of a better word, they were never attempt but were serious enough to land me in the hospital)
