Actually, it's really neat. He keeps a pretty homey office. Lots of family pictures, vacation photos, etc. The gifts range from little McDonald's Happy Meal toys from his child clients to handmade gifts to figurine's like mine. Some are silly; some are gorgeous; some are clearly symbolic. I can't remember how we got on the topic of the gifts one day. Oh, yes I do! I was dissociating and one of his methods of grounding me is to have me focus on concrete objects in his office and name them and describe them. I looked at one of the gifts and said, "What the heck is that?"

He proceeded to explain the significance of that certain object and we ended up talking about several different gifts around the room. (Worked like wonders to bring me back to earth by the way.) He keeps everything. In fact, he moved to a new building a couple of months ago and even those Happy Meal toys made the trip.
