I'm sorry you're going through this!!

Her and my old neighbor should get together, sounds like they have a lot in common. I also called the cops on him, after he called animal control on my 9 week old puppy for barking at him while he mowed. He then came over into my lawn, took my puppy's stake out of the ground and put her next to the road. I got out of the shower, and luckily she was fast asleep a foot away from the street, even though animal control was knocking on my door. He also has left threatening notes on my windshield and pounded on our door at all hours because we "close car doors too loudly". We have since moved, but the people who live there now had two kittens that he implied he killed. He told them "They were cute, but they just wouldn't get out from under my car...." Like both of them could be run over at the same time.

Anyways, what helped me was realizing that he was just a miserable person, and then I felt sorry for him instead of hating him. I started praying for him and even invited him to church with me. When Christmas came, I took over a ton of Christmas cookies with a note from us. Of course, it didn't change his behavior, but it changed mine and that was good enough for me!
