Thank you butterflylady!
I went too the memorial yesterday at her house. I think it was a good thing for sure. The funeral is not till next Sunday. Of course we all are in shock at the fact someone who appears so healthy can all of a sudden be gone. Kathleen, Val, Rosie and I were recently trying to plan a night out to just sit and be gals. Well yesterday the 3 of us decided to go out after the memorial and it was a very good thing. We went too a little hole in the wall place, got a table and put a 4th chair where Kathleen would sit. We got a glass for her and each mixed out drink into it. We laughed and we cried. We talked about how the last 2 weeks she spoke to us privately about different things. Really strange but it was like she knew but she didn't tell anyone. It was very good for us women to take the time too comfort one another as well as remember all the good times we had with her. I feel fortunate to have people like Val and Rosie in my life. We even spoke of, if anything like this happens to any of us we would all be at one anothers bedsides to the very end.
