Well, basically I've wondered for years if I have Asperger's on top of my mental illness dx. I have some traits similar to it, and some traits not.

The problem is I think I've gotten away from the subject, but last Sunday at church in the social room the people at the table next to me were talking about it and I got so triggered I had to leave service.

I feel like I've got to have some resolution here. I brought it up with a psychatrist who said that I was a little like that, but not completely, he didn't want to diagnose me. On the other hand, I've had two therapists in a row that believed I had it and wanted to do therapy for it. My friend with a psychology degree says if I'm an Aspie, I'm very high functioning and I have too much empathy.

I am going to have a new pdoc next year, but I don't know what she would say. All the self tests online say that I'm on the border of having it or not.

I really wish this would end.
