For whatever reason, I have no idea why, I am terrified of a praying mantis.

As for flies - I have a major problem with them - the regular big fat green flies. Those really really gross and very very clever big fat ugly dirty flies.

I have also carried on like a circus clown in my kitchen, trying to get rid of them.

They have the nerve to descend on my when I am preparing food or cooking.

I burn citronella candles all around but they arn't even repelled, they just fly right through the flame with a snigger and a snear.

I quite agree that they have plenty brain cells when it comings to winning!
