What marta said, I think it's some form of social anxiety. You can learn to overcome this, but it takes effort and time to do this.

When you social anxiety, you are stuck with the same patterns of thinking and behaving. To overcome social anxiety, you must break out of these patterns of thinking/doing. This mean you have to grow and improve as a person.

That you are already talking about it here on a forum is one step forward. But just talking about anxiety is not enough. You have to take the right kind of action.

Buying one or two of these self-improvement books aimed at curing social anxiety can go a long way. This is how I overcome my social anxiety. I read a lot of self-help books, changed my thinking, and started consciously and intentionally acting in different ways.

You could also try doing therapy, but in my opinion self-help works a lot better for fighting against social anxiety.
