Thanks to everyone for all of the good thoughts. I was pretty sick over the weekend (102 degree fever) and was still sick Monday morning (100 degree fever). They decided to do the surgery anyway, but with a change. They did it with me awake, with a sedative and a local, which was a really scary idea to me! Ick! But I thought it was better to just get it done anyway, so we did. I am in a whole lot of pain but at least it is over. They also did more surgery than they originally planned so it is pretty....well....owie down there.

The other bad news is that my computer died on Friday night. So I don't have any contact with my online friends and it sure feels awkward! I really am particuarly missing my online contacts right now, while I'm recovering. What an awkward time for it to break down. I am able to use a friend's computer for a few minutes now, but I don't know when I will be able to do so again.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for your good thoughts. I know it helped on Monday!

Hopefully I will just keep getting better bit by bit now. I see the surgeon again on Monday and he should have the pathology results then. I hope the results will be benign.
