Let us reflect on another year of corruption and deaths...
January 1st: Estonia becomes the seventeenth eurozone country and adopts the Euro.
January 14th: Tunisian government falls after a month of civil unrest.
February 11th: Egyptian President resigns and Egypt becomes a Military State.
February 22th to March 14th: Libya is used as an excuse for a major oil pricing hike.
March 11th: Earthquakes and tsunami destroys parts of Japan.
March 15th: King of Bahrain declares three-month State of Emergency.
March 17th: The UN declares a no-fly zone over Libya.
March 19th: The French recon Libya.
April 11th: Former President Gbagbo is arrested and a new president is sworn into the Ivory Coast with the aid of the French.
April 29th: An over-hyped, boring wedding is watched by tens of millions of people with nothing better to do.
May 1st: President Obama declares that Osama has been murdered.
May 16th: The EU bails out Portugal.
June 4th: Another volcano erupts in Chile, forcing many to retreat.
June 12th: Syrian troops lay siege to an important Syrian trade route, forcing many refugees to escape to Turkey.
July 7th: The first artificial organ transplant is successful with the aid of Stem Cells.
July 9th: South Sudan becomes a country, ceding from Sudan.
July 20th: UN declares a famine in Somalia.
July 21st: NASA's space shuttle program goes offline with the launch of Atlantis.
July 22nd: Two terrorist attacks occur in Norway.
August 20th to 28th: Libyan forces take control of the capital of Tripoli and overthrow Gaddafi.
September 5th: India and Bangladesh settle their 40 year border dispute.
October 18th: Israel and Palestine begin a Prisoner Swap, releasing thousands of prisoners.
October 20th: The Libyan Civil War ends with Gaddafi's death.
October 23rd: An earthquake jolts Eastern Turkey.
October 27th: EU declares another emergency meeting, rewriting 50% of Greek Bonds, recapitalizing the European banks, and increasing bail outs to a trillion euros.
October 31st: UN declares that there are more than 7 billion people on the world.
October 31st: UN accepts Palestine as a member. Disputes still wage on as to whether Palestine can declare independence or not (Israel is opposed).

Some ongoing disputes:
-Wikileaks is still fighting for survival and raising funds to fight back against the United States.
-Palestine is still seeking independence from Israel.
-The European Union is still failing, and Brussels is asking for control of some budgeting in the PIIGS, which is not going too well.
-The United Postal Service is asking for another bailout by September 2012 or will go bankrupt.
